Energy sovereignty
Wind as a sovereign energy source. No BAF, No LSS: stable, transparent rates, decoupled from oil prices.
Climate change, energy crises, ocean pollution, and the destruction of wildlife and biodiversity: there is an urgent need to decarbonise maritime transport. In Europe, commercial vessels account for nearly 13% of greenhouse gas emissions from transport, in addition to a whole range of toxic substances.
Faced with these global challenges, sailing merchant shipping, which was once thought to have disappeared forever, is today emerging as a technology of the future: economical, natural, efficient, and environmentally friendly. Unlike other solutions aimed at replacing fuel-powered engines, wind is the only inexhaustible, clean, freely available and free energy source — forever.
BeWind Shipping will preserve the millennia-old expertise of sailing merchant shipping, while incorporating the most advanced technologies into the design and operation of its vessel, a 110-metre-long three-masted ship. It will guarantee fast, reliable freight transport at competitive rates.

A carbon saving directly usable in your own clients' Scope 3 reporting, across the entire Celtic Corridor.

Wind as a sovereign energy source. No BAF, No LSS: stable, transparent rates, decoupled from oil prices.
Because we don't burn fossil fuel for main propulsion, EU-ETS surcharges become marginal, and we're targeting a CII-A rating — without relying on future offsetting.
This approach is built on standardized methodologies and measurable tracking. A dedicated voyage carbon report is designed to accompany each BL, aligned with ISO 14083 and GLEC Framework standards — in line with our Green Marine Europe certification pathway.
That same rigor shows up on the ground: Just-in-Time delivery, Track & Trace, dynamic ETA, across 8 industry verticals.
